We have evolved as a people with our cooking skills. And in this journey, some civilizations or groups of people have given it more importance than the others. We in retrospect see that those who have given it the deserving importance have thrived and lived long & healthy lives, not so much some others who have ignored it. In our attempts to make things better we have come almost 360 degrees with manipulating food. We have intervened into the core DNA of food (GMO), in an attempt to change it and have since drawn back seeing this may not be the right thing to do nor was yielding the desired results (the advent of the organic crops). Sadly, though there is one aspect that has been almost completely ignored. The cooking pot! Believe it or not, the cooking pot makes a big difference to all these three aspects.
