Description

Set of 3 MEC cooking pots for use on the Stovetop and in the Oven. Use this healthiest cookware set to cook many different kinds of dishes, from cooking rice to pasta to sautéing vegetable to making curries, soups & your favorite chili. Must use with diffuser on electric, glass and ceramic cooktops. Cook 100% Healthy,  Non-toxic food for you and your family with these beautiful unglazed clay pots.

All our products are Hand Made in the USA, with raw materials from within the USA. The clay is tested to ensure it is absolutely free of toxins like lead and cadmium.

Can also be used on solid fuel cooking surfaces like wood and coal on low flame or fire/heat.

100% Non-Toxic:

NO Additives, Extenders, Dyes, Plasticizers or chemicals used. No glaze used so no toxins there as well. Each piece is individually handcrafted & hand finished.

Naturally Steam Condensing/Preserving:

Unlike traditional metal pressure cookers, the steam condenses naturally because of a cool underside of the lid. Thus the nutritional value of food improves greatly. No more harsh heat from metals and ceramics that destroys nutrients, the pot cares for your food as much as you do.

Increase temperature from low to medium in 5 minutes and cook on medium heat. Maximum heat setting on stove-top is medium heat (5 or 6 on a scale of 1-10).

I am so happy and thankful to have been introduced to your clay pots by a friend. I was a little apprehensive because this was my first time cooking in clay pots. I must tell you, i have never had food cooked so rich and delicious and moist before. Your website is so helpful and so informative - it gave me the confidence to start cooking in my clay pots. I have had the pots for a little over 2 months now. I have cooked rice, lentils, vegetables, chicken, and made yogurt in my pot. I had my doubts about the lentils cooking as soft as they cook in my pressure cooker, but the lentils cook a whole lot better in the clay pot - they are deliciously soft and yet remain whole, never become a mushy paste. My whole family has noticed the difference in flavor of the food since i have started cooking in my clay pots, and they all love it. Miriam, Firstly, HAPPY NEW YEAR! Secondly, I thought you would like to know, I LOVE THEM! I cured them by cooking porridge, and letting it sit for over a day. The clay and the rice soaks up the broth, creating this wonderful aroma which brings back memories of the days when my grandmother used to cook with her clay pots over a charcoal stove outside her house. The wonderful memories of curry stewing and rice cooking. I don’t know how to Thank You enough! Keep making these wonderful pots! I will be back for more pretty soon.
